Why Planning Your Life the Old Way No Longer Works
Published 4 months ago • 3 min read
Hello beautiful souls,
Happy New Year. You might think that I'm late on wishing you a happy NY but the astrological new year only begins when the Sun enters Aries, marking the Vernal (Spring) Equinox in the Northern Hemisphere, which usually falls on March 20th or 21st. This moment signals the start of the zodiacal cycle, symbolizing renewal, action, and the start of spring.
Today I want to talk about the Power of Intuitive Life Planning as we get ready to enter this cycle and the drastically different energy that we are being invited into in 2026.
Lately, I’ve been reflecting on how much the way we were taught to plan our lives has changed — and how much it needs to change in order for a rebirth and reinvention to happen (personally and collectively)
For so long, we were taught to plan from the mind first (left brain).
Goals. Metrics. Productivity. Hustle. Timelines.
Push harder. Do more. Optimize everything.
And while that approach can create movement, it often comes at a cost — burnout, disconnection, anxiety, and a quiet sense that we’re living someone else’s version of success.
Intuitive life planning is an invitation to do something radically different.
It asks us to slow down.
To listen inward before looking outward.
To plan in conversation with our energy, our seasons, our nervous system, and our inner wisdom.
Instead of asking:
What should I be doing?
We ask:
What is alive in me right now?
What is asking for space, care, or expression?
What feels aligned in this season of my life — not in theory, but in my body?
This way of planning isn’t about doing less for the sake of doing less.
It’s about doing what actually matters — with presence, intention, and trust.
Right now, collectively, so much is changing.
Old structures are dissolving.
Certainty feels elusive.
The pace of the world can feel overwhelming.
And that’s exactly why intuitive life planning matters more than ever.
When we plan intuitively, we stop forcing ourselves into rigid systems that don’t honor our humanity and leave us feeling broken!
We begin to work with life instead of against it.
We create lives that feel sustainable, nourishing, and true.
For me personally, this practice has deepened even more recently.
Pregnancy has been a powerful initiation into slowing down — into honoring the feminine creative force that doesn’t rush, doesn’t perform, and doesn’t prove. It creates by listening. By resting. By trusting timing. My baby (Leila) shows me she's alive through movement when I'm slowing down and resting. It's as if she is saying "Hey finally you've left space for me to show you how alive I am"!
That energy has changed how I see planning entirely.
Planning, when done intuitively, becomes a ritual.
A relationship.
A way of staying in conversation with your YES.
It’s not about predicting the future.
It’s about staying connected to yourself as the future unfolds.
One of the most beautiful things I’ve witnessed is how intuitive planning gives people permission to soften — and yet somehow become clearer, braver, and more aligned at the same time. It's a permission slip to actually feel and honour what is true in you.
You don’t fall behind.
You don’t fail.
You return to yourself. To your truth. To your YES.
“I just wanted to let you know how grateful I am for the way you’ve put together this amazing Intuitive Life Planner. The End-of-Year Reflection was such a beautiful exercise. It helped me look at the year from a bigger-picture perspective and really feel into it in a deeper way. I just want to say thank you for creating this and for giving so generously. What you’re doing is truly making a difference and creating a real impact in the lives of so many."

"Thank you from the bottom of my heart for the planner - it’s been so helpful in sorting my brain out and honestly, it’s helping me hold onto trust, faith, and comfort. It’s a blessing…thank you again so much. ❤🙏"

Hey Reader 🤍 I wrote something very vulnerable over on Substack this week… A reflection on what it really looks like to say yes to your YES → When life doesn’t make sense→ When you’re scared→ When you don’t have guarantees→ When everything feels uncertain… And how, sometimes, those are exactly the moments where everything changes. I shared a piece of my own story— from a season where I felt deeply lost, grieving, disconnected from myself… to the life I’m living now, which honestly still feels...
Hi beautiful, This is NOT an April Fools’ joke. Today, I have a heartfelt question for you: Will you be my elephant? 🐘 During our last Quantum Leap Live session in The Yes Collective, something truly touching was shared. One of the women spoke about female elephants and the extraordinary way they support one another in the wild. Elephants live in deeply bonded matriarchal communities. The females remain together for life, forming strong, nurturing circles of protection, wisdom, and care. When...
